So the Wednesday after Christmas my folks came out to help me paint our house and it took three and a half days. We painted our living room and the hallway going to our bedroom and we also painted our kitchen. I still need to paint the hall going to the basement and the other hallway going to the office and the girls bedroom and those two bedrooms and our bedroom. Lot of work ahead but I really love painting. The pictures don't do it justice It's like a whole new house to me I love the colors me and my mom chose.Thanks Mom and Dad for helping me you're the best!! I posted alot more pics after this too!!!

Merry Christmas my beautiful family

So at the end of June we went to St. George and had the Christensen family reunion. I always look forward to this every year because all of my mom siblings and their kids come to St. George for four days and we get to go swimming, hiking, go watch plays, eat delicious food and play lots of games.

In July we had two special events my baby girl Takoma turned 2! And my only sister got married and both events happened in two days. Takoma's bday was the 29th and my sister got married the 30th. It was a pretty busy weekend but we had so much fun.

I started school in September and boy was it hard and I only took one class but in my defense it was a very tedious class but I worked very hard and studied every chance I had and I got an A in the class yay! I won't be taking any classes during the spring semester due to potty training my two and a half year old. No need to add on more stress.

Halloween was fun Takoma dressed up as Belle and Mckinley was Squirt from Finding Nemo I was a nurse and I honestly can't remember what Cameron was but he looked great. We then went to the church and did some trick or treating there and we also went to the grandparents house. Needless to say the girls got plenty of candy and we will probably be eating it till next Halloween.

We spent Thanksgiving with my parents in Lehi and had a blast I always look forward to spending time with them and they love seeing their grandbabies.

On December 14th we celebrated Mckinley's first birthday. We had her cousins come over and play and had cake and ice cream. That whole day I kept on thinking that a year ago we were welcoming her in our family. It's truly amazing how fast time flies I'm so thankful for both of my girls and blessings and wonderful memories they have brought into mine and Cameron's lives.On Christmas Eve we went to my grandparents for dinner. My grandma makes her German dinner and it is amazing!!! After the dinner we went to Cameron's folks house and played some games. Cameron and I decided that we wanted to spend Christmas with just our family and start our own traditions and I loved it. We woke up opened our presents had some breakfast and Cameron's parents took the girls so that Cameron and I could go to church and actually listen to the speakers and it was great. After church Cameron and I made a sweet roast and brought it over to Cameron's folks place for dinner and ate all day long.

Lots and lots of pics to show but not a ton to tell. I do have a couple of exciting news to tell. At the end of April Cameron GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE WITH HIS BACHELORS DEGREE IN EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT WITH A 3.6GPA. YAY!!!!!!! This last semester was by far more time consuming than the other semester(he was doing 16 credits) except when he was going to paramedic school. I cant tell you how happy I was when he finished his last paper. When he was going to school he would get home at 6 pm hang out with us till 8pm then he would have to go to his office and do homework till10 or11 pm. And that was almost every day of the week. Saturdays he would do homework at 8 till noon or one and some times he would have to do more that night when the kids were in bed. I'm so proud of him and for all his hard work and determination to get his schooling done. I love you so so so much honey and I am so grateful for all you do for us you are our everything. As for me I'm being a mom(teaching manners,cleaning,bathing the girls,changing diapers,feeding the girls ect. I just love it!)Takoma is growing and talking a lot more. She's say more words than before which is great because I was getting nervous that she was behind all the other kids her age but I think she just chooses not to say the words. She can understand you completely but for some reason she just doesn't want to respond that much. but like I said she is getting better at it. She is now sleeping in a twin bed which is awesome! Her and Mckinley have been sharing a room since Jan. and they are still doing good with each other. Sometimes Takoma will through things in Mckinley's crib like toys or shoes so Mckinley has something to play with but other than that they're doing great with each other. Mckinley is getting big she is seven and half months old Crazy! She is so cute and so so so smiley. When ever and who ever comes up to her she gives you the biggest smile and laugh it's so precious. She's rolling everywhere and loves sitting up. She also loves baby food. Mckinley loves it when Takoma or her cousins come and play with her. You can tell that she's excited because she'll start to kick her legs and moves her arms up and down.I love my girls so much and am so grateful to have them even though we do have our moments when mom wants to scream or pull her hair out. but I am very blessed to have such wonderful, beautiful and most of all healthy girls. I love you two so very much.

So I feel like I'm the worst parent ever because I'm not taking as much pic with Mckinley as I did when I had Takoma. I try to but it seems like I always have my hands full and don't have the second to go grab my camera and take pics of Mckinley when she's doing something so cute but I told myself today that I'm going to do better. So Mckinley was blessed in Feb and we had alot of fun having family and friends come and great food too. Thank you all who came and who brought food it was amazing. Yes this was forever ago like Feb. forever ago I really am going to try to do better.

So I was holding Mckinley and Takoma came up to us and wanted to hold her! I couldn't resist I had to take a pic of this of course we needed daddy's help but it was so cute to see Takoma hold her baby sister. It Cameron's Birthday he turned 25!!! Happy Birthday babe I love you so much. I'm so blessed to have you as my husband and being the father of our girls.

Cameron wanted to try this mexican cake that they have a cafe rio I can't remember what it's called but I guess they fill this cake up with some sort of cream inside so the batter is really really moist. I thought it was a little to moist but Cameron liked it and that's what matters.

I just love watching her sleep I could watch her all day if I could.

Well it's time for an update! You become very busy when you have 2 kids. I have been wanting to post about our family and put tonz of pics up everyday but something gets in the way so I decided that Sundays will be my blog day! Cameron will be home all day so I will be able to have time away from my two little sweet angels. I know today is Friday but my girls are both asleep which doesn't happen very often.
Cameron, my wonderful and amazing husband is loving his job @ flint. He is a safety manager which is perfect because he is getting his degree in emergency management. He has been working for them since November. He is GRADUATING IN APRIL, YES NEXT MONTH!!!!!! I'm so happy and so proud of him. He was thinking about graduating in the summer but he just wanted to get the whole school thing over with. So he is taking 17 credits this semester. I can't wait for him to be done with school then we can spend more time together as a family. I'm so proud of him and I love him very much. He is the perfect husband for me and my best friend and the perfect daddy for our girls! Thank you so much sweet heart for working so hard I love you very much!
Me: So this afternoon I had to go to urgent care because I was in the process of getting mastitis. Yuck I had that two weeks after I had Mckinley and it was not fun but I'm glad I recognized it before it got worse.LOL so that was the highlight of my afternoon. I'm trying to be the best mother I can be for my girls and the best wife for my husband. My goal for last year and this year is being a better cook. I did alright last year but this year I want to do really well and get out of my comfort zone. So far I've been doing good but I'll keep you posted on that. I'm going to see if I can start school in the summer and try do get my associate in a couple of years. I do about 95% of it on line so I'm pretty excited about that. We moved into a house in the middle of Jan. and we are loving it! We love how much more room we have and we love having a garage. Since it's a bigger place I have a hard time keeping up with my chores. Sometimes I feel like all i do is clean and then Takoma gets it all messy again but then she gives me this look and my heart just melts. I'm going to be working at the pool again this summer teaching the mommy and me class and I'm super excited for it. Takoma just loves the water we actually went to the pool on Thursday they have a toddler time from 10am-11:30am and they have that big water toy on and the lazy river. Takoma loved it she was going down the slides and dunking herself, blowing bubbles, and kicking her legs. All of you who have little kids should come it's alot of fun and it's never crowded. There was only ten people when we went and half of them left after 40 min.
Takoma: What a fun girl she has the funniest personality she knows how to make us laugh. But when she's mad you better watch out because she throws the biggest fits in the world. I've been putting her on time out alot lately. I don't know what her deal is but all of a sudden she will just start screaming and throw herself on the floor and start kicking the ground. I have to tell her if she doesn't stop then she will have to go on timeout. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. But beside that she is a great blessing in our family. She is being a wonderful sister and loves to tickle Mckinley. When Mckinley starts crying Takoma will say "uh oh baaby" and sometimes when Mckinley is to noisy Takoma will say shhhhhh to her and put her finger to her mouth. She has this doll that we bought her when Mckinley was born and she never really touched it till about a couple of weeks ago. She carries this doll everywhere she goes. she likes to feed it and she likes to burp her too. It's really cute to watch. I love her so much and I'm so grateful to have her in my life.
Mckinley: well Mckinly will be 3 months old on the 14th. It's gone by super fast but I'm kind of happy about that. Mckinley was kind of hard at the beginning. She always wanted to be held and she was always colicky but since Feb. she's been really good. She eats every four hours and she goes to bed around 8:30 or 9 and then she'll wake up about 5:30 or 6. I'm loving it! She loves to talk to you and smiles all the time. she'll watch Takoma play and if I need to do something and I can't hold Mckinley sometimes I'll put her on the couch and turn on Dora the Explorer and mute it but she'll just watch the bright colors and sometimes she talks to the TV too or I'll turn the fan on and she'll watch that. She has the sweetest little spirit and I just love watching her grow. Sometimes I'll sit and just stare at her for ever and not want to do anything else. I love her so much!
I'm so grateful for my family and so grateful for there health. I don't know how I became so lucky but I'm super grateful. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I'll post pics up this Sunday!!!

CATCHING UP!!!!

Okay so I'm finally caught up!!! Oh and I forgot to mention that we are moving into a house next week. oops.LOL but we are still living here in Vernal YAY. So Mckinley is now 6 weeks well will be on Tuesday but anyways things are starting to calm down and I'm less stress. Gosh it really is hard going from having one child to two but I love it. Mckinley is a very cuddly baby where as Takoma wasn't so much and Takoma was sleeping through the whole night by three weeks and Mckinley is still waking up once every night.Bummer. Hopefully that will change in the next couple of weeks. So I know I'm way late about this but our Christmas was good except that we had to take Takoma to the hospital since basin clinic was closed. She was going nuts Christmas afternoon like banging her head against the walls and hitting her hands on her head so Cameron took her in and i guess she was in the process of having an ear infection. Yuck. and then two days later Cameron had to take me to that building next to basin clinic(can't remember the name) and I had mastitis. But other than that we had a great holiday. Takoma will be 18 months on the 29th! I can't believe it she is growing up to fast for me but she is such a great big sister. She loves giving Mckinley the bink when she's crying and has to be the first one there if she starts crying. She is going to be so protective over Mckinley it makes me excited to see what the future holds for the both of them. This was taken today. Kinley just chilling out.

Takoma got her first hair cut a couple of weeks ago and it was long over due. Thanks mom!!

Mckinley Raegen Ruppe!!!

So yes we did finally have our beautiful baby girl but I've just been way to busy to post about her. I have a few min. to spare so I'll give it a go. Mckinley Raegen Ruppe came to us on December 14, 2010 (2 days late) on Tuesday at 9:25 p.m. Weighing at 7lbs 8oz and 19 1/2 in. just like Takoma she was born with dark hair. YaY. My delivery was amazing! I decided to get the epi when I got to an 8 and an hour to an hour and a half later I started pushing and I only had to push 3 times!!! One hard and the other two were little pushes. Weird. It was seriously a 3min. delivery and it was so easy. Having Mckinley out is the best thing in the world. I love not being pregnant anymore and I don't miss one thing about being pregnant. It is very difficult having two babies 16 1/2 months apart but I know it will pay off when Mckinley is 6-9 months and starts playing with Takoma. Takoma loves Mckinley so much she gives her kisses all the time and tries to pick her up and feed her the bink when she's crying. If Mckinley starts crying Takoma is the first one to get to her. It's super cute! I love my two little girls and I know they will be the best of friends. I'm so grateful that Mckinley is healthy and there were no complication during my delivery. Well Mckinley is calling to be fed so that's all I have time for but I will try to keep everyone updated. I have more pics to put up that are more recent but that will have to wait for tomorrow or Saturday. Hope everything is going well for everyone. it's time to push!

IS SHE GOING TO COME BEFORE HER DUE DATE?

So my due date is the 12th of this month like 3 more days! I'm dilated to a 2-3 and my contractions have been getting closer in the past couple of days. I've been nesting like crazy and have been getting cravings like none other which didn't happen to me when I was pregnant with Takoma so I've been baking a ton of cookies and eating them like crazy I do give most of them to the neighbors though. Cameron has been gone since Sunday afternoon for an OSHA class and wont be getting back till tonight so hopefully our little baby will stay in till he gets back. I'm so looking forward to seeing our little girl and I'm way excited for Takoma to have a baby sister! Poor Takoma has had this bad cough for the last 3-4 days. I just hate seeing her sick because she's not her fun self. She always looks sad and tired. We've also been doing a lot of cuddling and I love that but I sure hope she gets filling better soon. Hope everyone is doing well!!!!

A LITTLE UPDATE

So I will have two weeks left this Sunday and then we will see our beautiful baby girl!!! I'm so excited to see her and see what she looks like. I'm also so so so excited to not be pregnant anymore!!!! Cameron and I have decided that we are going to take a long break after this pregnancy( like 3 to 4 yrs) we are definitely going to do birth control this time.LOL. Also I'm planning on going back to school in the fall to get my associates and that will take about 2 to 2 1/2 years.
We were so blessed at the beginning of this month!!! Cameron had applied for a Safety Manager position and got it at the beginning of this month!! He was so excited cause this is what he's getting his degree in (emergency management) I'm so proud of him and for all his hard work. He had been turned down many times for other jobs that he had applied for but obviously was not meant for them he was meant to have this job and we are so grateful for that. I love my husband so much and am so grateful for what he does for our family he is my best friend and I just love him!!!!
We are leaving for Grand Junction tomorrow morning for Thanksgiving and coming home on Friday so please please please everyone cross your fingers that I don't go into labor during the next two days.LOL I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and if you are traveling I hope the roads are good for you. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!!

Going to the Zoo

Last Saturday was a blast!!! Cameron, Takoma, Me and our best friends Frans, Bridget, and Marley went to Hoolgle Zoo. We also had Frans's parents and another of their sons and his wife come too!!! We love this family so much and it was so good to see them again. Frans is in the Air Force and just graduated from his training/school in Mississippi. They were over there for nine months and they got to come back to Utah to visit family and friends for three weeks then they're getting stationed to can you believe it HAWAII FOR 3 YEARS!!!! How awesome is that! I'm so happy we got to see them before they go because we don't know when we're going to see them next. Takoma and Marley loved the zoo and they loved playing with each other. They are going to be the best of friends. Takoma called everything dog or doggy and she would also say "oh" to everything it was super cute. Bridget, Marley, Takoma and I got to ride the merry-go-round and our girls loved it. I wish we could have gone more than once. That night Frans's parents watch Marley and Takoma so we four adults could go eat dinner together. So we had an amazing time until we went to our hotel. So I don't like to complain but this was ridiculous! So we get to our hotel about 11:30 to midnight and we put Takoma to bed in the pull out couch next to the window. Well there was this street lamp right under our window and our whole room was lit up so we tried to close the curtains but guess what, they don't close so we had to sleep in a bright room Takoma did not fall asleep till almost 1:30 in the MORNING! Then around 2:00a.m Cameron woke up dieing of heat so he goes to turn on the air conditioning and that doesn't work so we had to open the window and listen to all the cars drive by since this place is next to the highway then I woke up just after that because I was having really bad acid reflex and it got so bad that I was throwing up for about an hour. Yuck. So none of us got any sleep that night and this hotel was only one year old!!! I'm just glad we got it for free. Sunday morning we slept in and went to Frans parents house to hang out with everyone again and then we left for home around 2:00p.m. But we had so much fun hanging out with everyone thank you so much for a wonderful time and hopefully we'll see you guys again!!!

30 WEEKS ALREADY!!!!!

30 weeks already YaY!!! I'm so happy to almost be done with being pregnant. So an update about my two girls. Takoma is now 14 months will be 15 at the end of this month(weird) and she is walking everywhere and learning how to run. I love that she can walk so now I don't have to carry her anymore. I was so nervous that I would have to carry two babies in the winter but not anymore. Takoma can say a few words now (daddy, ma ma, dog or doggy, what's that, uh oh, grrr for tigger) she can climb on the couches and get off all by her self which is nice too. I love this stage she is such a fun and cute girl and I can't wait for her to see her sister. Takoma loves babies and loves to give them kisses and hugs. Cameron and I have decided to name our to be little girl Mckinnley Raygen Ruppe. We had a 3D ultra sound yesterday and it was pretty cool only Mckinnley wouldn't hold still and she wouldn't let us see her whole face. I guess she likes to put her hand against her face. Also the placenta and the cord were in the way but at least we got to see half of her face. I can't wait to see her in person and what she looks like. Hope everything is going well for everyone.

Okay so in September we went camping twice with my side of the family but we didn't stay up the night because I wanted to sleep in my bed especially since I'm in my third trimester. I have to sleep in a comfortable bed or I will regret it the next morning. We went camping during the holiday and it's starting to become a 2nd family reunion. We have one every year in June and then the last few years we've been doing a camping one up here. But anyways I only got one pic from that whole weekend I was really bad and the second time we went camping I didn't get any SUPPER BAD. The second one was with my dad, older bro, younger bro, my sis, aunt and uncle with their kids, my grandparents and my grandma's brother and his wife from Germany came here to visit for three weeks. They have never camped like this before where you go in the mountains and park your trailer and have a lot of open space and can watch the deer run around. They also got to ride four wheelers for the first time too and they had a blast!! It was so cool to meet them and hang out with them.

this is the morning of her birthday.

Takoma turned one on the 29th of July. Her birthday was on a weekday so we couldn't have a party for her till that weekend but that evening when Cameron came home from work we all went out and got ice cream at that new place by Gandolfos and it was delicious!!! Takoma loved it!

On Saturday we had a little birthday party for her and it was a blast. I don't think Takoma wasn't getting the whole opening your presents thing so we got to do that but she loved all of her gifts. Thanks everyone for coming we had so much fun.

So today I went to get my second ultra sound to make sure that we're having a girl and it's official we totally are!! This time our baby girl was holding still and she was not shy at all to show her parts. I'm so excited to have another girl and I think Takoma will love having a sister especially one that's close in age. So far Cameron and I really love the name Brynnen and I think we're going to stick with it(I hope so I really love this name). We still haven't picked out a middle name yet but we've got time. Hope all is well.

So we went to go get an ultra sound and everything looks good. The baby looks healthy which is the most important thing but our baby was way to active and doing flips the whole time so we weren't able to get an excellent look at what we're having but the radiologist said it looks like we're having a girl(AWESOME!) but just to be certain I'm going back in two weeks to make it official. LAST 3 MONTHS!!!

So I'll be honest for the past few months I kept telling myself that I need to update my blog but I just really haven't been in the mood to do it. I know really sad and it totally makes me sound lazy but I finally got in the mood to do it today. So here's whats been going on with us. We moved back to Vernal around the middle of June when our condo got finished being built and boy do we love our place! It's so nice to live in a home that fits all three of us comfortably. Cameron will have his associates in a couple of weeks.YAY he is working a Winnelson full time and at the Gold Cross part time. I'm so proud of him for working so hard to get his school done and having a job to support his family. I love you so much babe! Thanks for your hard work! I'm working part time as a swim instructor at the Rec Center and I love it! In the mornings I get to teach the mommy and tots and Takoma gets to come with me to be my little assistant. She loves coming to the pool everyday to see her lifeguard friends and all the other employees. Oh and we have some exciting news we are having another baby!!! I am now 4 1/2 months along and we will find out what we're having on Tuesday!! Cameron wants a boy and I'm rooting for another girl but I will be just as happy if we have a boy. Our two angels will be a bit close (16 1/2months) but I know a ton of moms have done it so I hope I can too. Our baby is due Dec. 12 so this will be a nice Christmas present for our family.LOL. Takoma will be turning one on the 29th of this month! Wow how time flies. She will walk across furniture but she wont try walking by herself which is a bummer but hopefully she'll be doing soon so I wont have to carry two babies. She loves drinking anything from a straw and she'll eat what every we're eating which is really nice. So I put these pics from April to June and we hope everything is going well for everyone. enjoy.

Quick Update

Cameron graduated from Paramedic school last Wednesday!!!!!
We are both so glad that it's over now he has 8 more months till he gets his bachelors degree!! I'm so grateful for how hard he is working to get his school done. He doesn't have to do it but he wants to and that's so great. We are now living in Vernal(just moved in last Saturday) and we are so glad to be back. We love our new place and we are pretty much unpacked and everything is put where it needs to be so our place now looks like a home. There is nothing better than being in your own place that you can call a home. We are looking forward to seeing all of our friends and family here in vernal. Hope everyone is doing well!!!

So I know its really late but we just got home from Olive Garden because it's my birthday and I am now 22! We went to How To Train a Dragon and then after we went to the mall and went shopping. Then we went out to eat. How time flies! So much has happened in the last couple of years. This time last year I was five months along with Takoma and the year before that I had been engaged for three weeks and was married two and a half months later. And the year before that I was three months away from graduating high school! Crazy how time flies!!! I love my life and I couldn't be happier. I have the worlds best husband who loves me with all his heart and wants to spend all eternity with me. I'm so blessed to have him as my husband. We have a beautiful baby girl who is healthy and has brought joy into our lives. Now for the news we are moving to Vernal on Friday like in one day and we are so excited to move back. Can't wait to see my friends and family. Hope everything is going well for everyone.

Cameron had to do a 48 hour shift so Takoma and I went to Ogden to see our best friends. We had a blast and Takoma just loves her friend Marley.

Wow I'm really behind on my blog. Shame on me. Being a mom can be quite tiring as you all know. Well here are a bunch a pics for ya from the month of Jan. My little girl is SIX MONTHS OLD holy cow where has the time gone. Half a year ago she was just born and in another six months she'll be a YEAR! Big cheeks

Since Cameron hasn't been working since August and won't be able to work till the beginning of May because of his school and clinicals we were able to still buy each other a couple of gifts. I know Christmas isn't about gifts it's about love and about our Savior being born but it was still nice to wake up and to open something lol. We are so blessed to have a place to live and to have food to eat. And I'm so grateful to have my husband and that he's working so hard to get his degree and that we have a healthy baby girl. We are so blessed. Takoma's onesee(sp?) was buttoned when I put her down for a nap and when I came to wake her up it turned into a belly shirt.lol I guess she's out grown another one.lol That's my big girl!

We put Takoma on the other side of the crib the night before and this morning we found her clear over here. How funny.

Just in case you were wondering what she was wearing it's a Rudolf's outfit the hat has the red nose and antlers on top.lol really cute and funny.

Alright so bad news our camera battery broke about a month and a half ago so that's why I haven't been updating my bog in a very long time. We have a recorder that takes pics so I just need to learn how to put the pics from my recorder to the computer. I know this makes me sound stupid for not knowing how to do this but with this recorder you have to download this CD and so some weird things to make it work. I'm totally not a computer person but I will figure this out.lol Anyways until then here is what the Ruppe family has been up to.
Takoma is now six months and is rolling over.YaY We'll put her on her back and immediately she flip over on her stomach. Sometimes she can roll back to her back but not always so when she can't she flips out and puts her face in the carpet. That is to let us know she has had enough. It's really funny to watch. Last week her two bottom teeth started poking out and she has been really miserable this last week and still is today. Poor little girl:-( but she's a toughie. Takoma loves to see her daddy come home from clinicals(He does 80 hours a week) She loves to smile. All you have to do is look at her and she'll give you a smile. I could be having a terrible day and she'll look at me and give me that smile and everything that was bothering me goes away. I love her so much.
Cameron is doing really well in his paramedic program and has a little over two and a half months left. He certainly can't wait to be done. He's also taking an online class as well.(not sure what it really is) He will be getting he's bachelors degree this December and is looking forward to start his career.He is such a hard worker I am so blessed to have him as my husband. As of now we are considering moving back to Vernal in the late spring for about a year. We are really excited about it if it works out but who knows.
As for me I am loving being a mom! I'm also learning how to Cook. So if anyone has any recipes that are good and not to difficult let me know. Hopefully I'll be able to post some pics here soon. Hope everything is going well you for all.

So a couple of weeks ago we heard that there was this thing on the news saying if you go to church and have young babies parents should switch off going to church because that's where babies are more likely to get sick. So Cameron and I decided to do this for awhile. It was my turn to go to church and while I was at church Cameron made Takoma a beanie for the winter. He did such a good job I was really impressed. How many guys do you know that know how to crochet? To make it more girly I added the white flower.

Takoma was a beautiful flower for Halloween. We didn't go trick-or-treating because we thought she was to little so we went over to my parents house and visited with them that night. We had a blast. Trying To Catch Up

I am so sorry for not keeping up on my pictures we have been really busy this last month. Well we have been living in Spanish Fork for a month and a half now and it's been great! I've made alot of friends in our ward and everyone is really welcoming. Our landlords are the best they have a really good garden and when ever they're picking they give us a bunch of tomatoes, squash, and zecinni( I have know idea how to spell that word) They are great! So the title for all these pictures is "Trying to Catch Up" and it really is all of these pictures are what have happened in the past month and a half to now. They're mostly pictures of Takoma.LOL I just can't believe how much she has grown in these two months. She will be three months on the 29 of October! WoW!! So just to let you all know there're a couple of poop pictures in here so if you think you will get grossed out I probably wouldn't look at these. These two pictures happened about a week ago. It was bath day for Takoma and I could tell that she was really excited. She loves taking baths. I was splashing some water at her and then I saw some bubbles appearing from her you know what and then a second or two later all of her poop started coming out. I totally freaked out, I grabbed my girl out of that tub and put her in her towel. I didn't really know what to do I told Takoma that was pretty discussing and all she could do was smile. I couldn't help but laugh and then I realized that I should probably clean up her mess which wasn't to fun but what can you do. I hope you all enjoy the rest of the pictures.

We decided to go to the park one day just to get out of the house. There's also a library next to the park so we check out some books to read while we were hanging out. Takoma slept the whole time.

I don't know why but for some reason Takoma woke up at like four in the morning. I was really surprised becase I'll get her in bed by nine or nine-thirty and she'll sleep till seven. Anyways After I nursed her I was to tired to take her back to her crib so I let her sleep with me and Cameron this one time.

Takoma's First Bath!

Takoma is three days old and I couldn't wait any longer I wanted to give her a bath. Not because she was stinky but I have been looking forward to getting her in the water as soon as possible! I can't wait to take her to a pool and play with her! As you can tell by these pics she didn't like it at all but she does love taking showers with me so there's some good news!

My mom got to help me give Takoma a bath and boy did I need help. Takoma did not like getting wet at all! Thanks mom for helping me!

So I had my check-up at 39 weeks and it went great! I was dilated to a 3. I asked my doctor if I could get induced since Cameron and I are moving in the middle of August and he said that is fine. And the best part is that he said he could start me the next morning! We were so excited and nervous at the same time. These two pictures were taken right before we went to the hospital. This is me at 39 weeks.

Can't you tell how excited my husband is about being a daddy.

Alright so we came to the hospital at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM I had only dilated one more cm. Yeah I was only at a 4! So the doctor told me that I could get some real food since nothing was really happening so I asked my mom if she could bring me Wendy's and within minutes after I was done eating I started getting contractions! I was in so much pain it was unreal.(Can't you tell by the picture) I was able to get the stuff that takes the edge off but it didn't take enough of the edge off for me. I went from a 4 to an 8 in thirty minutes! By then I was begging for an epidural and I was lucky to get it because by then I was dilated between a 9 and a 10.

Yay!!! She's here Takoma Aria Ruppe came to us at 10:45 PM on Wednesday the 29 of July of 2009. She weighed at 6lbs and 9oz. and 20 in. long. She was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen. When the doctor put her on my chest Takoma peed on me. Not to mention she peed like a boy, not kidding her pee was like watching a Old Faithful go off. I had to make sure she was a girl because I had never seen a girl pee straight up before. Well Done Takoma!

Being Pregnant

YaY I am now caught up! So Cameron and I found out that we were going to have a baby on the 1st of December 2008. At the beginning of April we found out that we're having a girl and her due date was Aug. 4, 2009. In this picture I am 36 weeks along. And boy I tell you I have almost had enough of this whole pregnancy thing. But hey just four more weeks! Right now I'm actually 38 weeks along and I found out just the other day that I'm 2cm dilated and my cervix is really soft! Yes, that is an accomplishment so that means I'm getting closer. I sure can't wait till our little Takoma comes. Hopefully she'll come a bit early but hey I guess she'll come when she wants to come.

Honeymoon

We decided to go to San Diego, California for our HONEYMOON! We got to go to Sea World, the MidWay Air Craft Carrier, and the Temple. It was a blast!

Cameron bought me this rose our first night in California. It was so special to me because this was my first rose ever and who better to get my first rose from than my wonderful husband. Thanks babe you are the best!

We got to go see the San Diego temple and it was gorgeous! This is my favorite temple out of all the the temples.

Oh my gosh so when we went to go see the shark aquarium I got really nervous because when you walk in this place you go in this tunnel and you have to step on this thing that makes you move forward and for about a minute you have these huge creatures swimming above and next to you. The only thing that is separating me from these things is like 1 to 2 FT thick glass. I know I sound like a baby but that is totally ok with me. I HATE sharks!

So Cameron and I got to go to this nice sushi restaurant and I must say it was the best sushi I have ever had and it was cheap! We got so much for a great price.

Wedding Day!

So June 21, 2008 was our wedding day!I am now Courtney Ruppe. I was so happy to be married to my sweetheart and best friend. I really couldn't believe how fast our engagement went. It was truly the best day in my whole life! Thank you everyone who helped out with this wedding it was the most beautiful wedding ever!

Easter weekend

When I came home from Hawaii Cameron and I got to spend a day together and then that next day my family and I left for St. George to spend the Easter holiday with my aunt Chong and her family and we also got to spend time with my grandparents. It was a very fun holiday. Again Cameron wasn't to happy about it because I was gone for another four days.LOL But no worries we will be married soon and be together all the time.

Maui, Hawaii

So a week after Cameron proposed my aunt Chong asked if I would like to go to Maui, Hawaii with her family! And I totally said YES! Oh my gosh I was so excited to go with them it was unreal. Cameron on the other hand was kinda bumbed. He proposes to me and then I leave him for a week. Sorry Babe, but when you get a chance to spend time with your aunt, uncle, and cousins in Maui you just can't turn that opportunity down. But I still love ya. LOL

One morning we all went on a hike and we came across this hut looking thing. It was so cool!

On March 4, 2008 Cameron and his family invited me over to their house for Mehgen's 16th Birthday. (My birthday present to her was pepper spray.LOL) Anyways while we were having dinner Cameron took his little niece, Kaylonni upstairs to give her some chocolate M&Ms. After awhile Cameron came downstairs but instead of coming back to the dinner table he went outside and drove off! I didn't know what to think, I thought he was dumping me or something. I was getting pretty nervous but then Kaylonni came up to me and was holding a little wooden box (like a wedding ring box) and opened it. Inside was no ring but a little note, Kaylonni handed me the note and said, "Cameron wanted me to give you this." The note said, Courtney I love you meet me at the temple, Cameron. So I went to the temple and there he was just waiting for me. He walked me over to one of the big doors and told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend all time and eternity with me, then he got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. I was so surprised and shocked that it took me a couple of seconds to respond and to say YES! I couldn't believe it, I was engaged! Here are some pictures of us that night after he proposed.

HOW WE FIRST MET

Cameron and I met in singles ward in December of 2007. He sat next to me in institute and handed me his phone and asked me to put my number in his phone. I was so excited because I had been checking him out for quite awhile. After I had put my number in his phone he left and I must say I was pretty bumbed. Fifteen minutes later he texted me and asked if I would like to go on a date with him. I was like heck yes I would like to go on a date with you.LOL ( I didn't text him that but I sure was thinking it.) But I did tell him yes. Our first date wasn't the perfect date, weird I know but our second one was and after that we were pretty inseparable. In this picture starting on the far left is Alysse, me, Cameron, and Nate.
